NEXT SURGERY DATE: 22 FEB

What are the Downes's doing, you might ask?  Well we are asking the same question, without any real answers.  We have been in Rockhampon with our families over the Christmas period enjoying all that a good Aussie Christmas brings.  We are awaiting news for Tim's operation, praying it will be sooner than later and the results will let us get back to Malawi.

Waiting is rather difficult, and not knowing frustrating.  We feel very ready to go back to Malawi but understand God's timing is perfect.  Waiting and patience is something God obviously thinks we need a bit more practise at!
